This official permission from your college is called a commandite.<\/p>\n<p>Dawson will only accept commandites through the SRACQ <em>Commandite virtuelle<\/em> system, which your advisor has access to, in order to send us your information.<\/p>\n<p>We will begin processing commandite requests as of Monday, April 22, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for Summer School commandite requests is Wednesday, May 29, 2024.<\/p>\n<h4>Step 1: To prepare for Summer School at Dawson, your home college must follow all seven mandatory items below using the <em>Commandite virtuelle system<\/em> :<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>Fill in all of your correct contact information.<\/li>\n<li>Identify which one or two courses that you are being permitted to take. Two courses maximum.<\/li>\n<li>The priority of your commandite:\n<ul>\n<li><em>Priority A or Fin de programme<\/em>: means the course(s) that you wish to take at Dawson this summer will allow you to graduate with your DEC in Summer 2024.<\/li>\n<li><em>Priority B:<\/em> that you need this course to advance in your regular DEC program in Fall, because of standing and advancement rules at your College.<\/li>\n<li><em>Non-priority: <\/em>You are requesting a course to advance in your regular DEC program, but you are not graduating and you are in good standing.<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If you are a Priority A student, the commandite information must include <strong>which section you wish to take<\/strong>. For example, 201-NYC-05 <em>section 19002<\/em>.\u00a0 Please refer to the Summer 2024 Timetable button above to find correct course and section numbers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your email address<\/strong>. If we do not have your correct email address, you will not receive your Omnivox access time, nor your appointment time to register since commandite appointments will be sent by email only. If the email address is incorrect, you could miss your chance to register.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your advisor must extend the commandite permission to expire on August 31, 2024<\/strong> so that, after both Summer School and Rattrapage registration\/course drop deadlines have passed, we may respond to your college through the system. All responses from Dawson will be sent by mid August.<\/li>\n<li>IMPORTANT &#8211;\u00a0 Commandite students may only register for the courses approved by their home college and accepted by Dawson, prior to registration. Commandite students may only register for in-program courses (<em>hors programme<\/em> &#8211; HP &#8211; courses will be refused).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4>Step 2. Once your commandite is accepted, you must create your MyDawson Portal (Omnivox) account to be ready to go pay your course fees.<\/h4>\n<p><strong>For Priority A students:<\/strong> Once your commandite has been processed by Dawson College, you will receive an email at the end of May or beginning of June, detailing the steps necessary to create your MyDawson Portal (Omnivox account) and asking you to go finalize your registration and pay your student fees.
